Description
The Nepal Bookcase is a walnut-tone open shelving unit for the living room wall in the warm Nepal style, with two round-topped walnut-tone side panels, a capsule-shaped compartment at its centre and wide shelves with rounded ends. The warmth of the walnut tone makes the shelves an inviting backdrop for decorative objects as much as for books.
The capsule compartment sits horizontally between the panels and frames books or boxes like a niche. The shelves below extend beyond the panels for a stepped look, while a slim glass shelf and a gold-tone metal rail at the top lighten the piece. Sculptures, vases and books can be displayed at different heights. Placed beside or behind the Nepal TV Lower Module, some of the shelves reach over the unit so the two pieces read as a single TV wall. It shares the walnut tone of the Nepal Display Cabinet and Nepal Sideboard.

Care
Dust the shelves weekly with a microfiber cloth and avoid abrasives. Use glass cleaner on the glass shelf; buff the gold rail dry. Place heavy books on the shelves closest to the panels.
